Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream

Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream is the key product in the Stormdry range. It penetrates deeply into masonry before curing to form a breathable, colourless, water-repellent barrier. Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream is applied by brush, roller, or airless spray and is supplied ready for use in 3 litre and 5 litre tubs. Each litre of material covers approximately 5m2 of masonry surface.

Stormdry Repointing Additive No.1

Stormdry Repointing Additive No.1 is supplied as a concentrate that is diluted with water and used as a gauging solution for cement:sand and lime:sand repointing mixtures. It imparts water-repellency to the mortar whilst still allowing it to breathe.

Stormdry Repointing Additive No.2

Stormdry Repointing Additive No.2 is supplied as a concentrate that is diluted with water and used as a gauging solution for cement:sand and lime:sand repointing mixtures. Stormdry Repointing Additive No.2 is polymer modified, so breathability of the mortar is reduced, however, as well as proving water repellency, it imparts enhanced adhesion and flexural strength to the mortar. For this reason it may be specified on projects where flood resistance or resistance to wind-driven rain is required.

Stormdry Gauge

Plastic gauge (similar to a Karsten tube or Rilem tube) for measuring the permeability of masonry. It is typically used before application of Stormdry and approximately one month after application to demonstrate effectiveness. The Stormdry Gauge can also be used to help identify small cracks in masonry that are acting as pathways for rain penetration.

Dryzone Damp Proofing Cream

Dryzone damp-proofing cream Dryzone is a rising damp treatment developed by the manufacturers of Stormdry. It is injected into holes drilled along a mortar course to provide a damp-proof course. Dryzone is based on similar silane-siloxane technology to Stormdry, but the formulation has been optimised to provide maximum spread along the mortar course. Well over a million tubes of Dryzone have been sold since its launch in 2000. Independent tests demonstrate that it is effective even in highly saturated walls (up to 95% saturation).
